About Love Letters

Hi! I’m Lauryn Love. I’m a publicist in New York working at the intersection of fashion, media, and culture.

Previously, I worked on publicity for SNL, The Tonight Show, and Late Night with Seth Meyers at NBC as well as at Hearst Magazines, handling PR for brands like ELLE and Harper’s BAZAAR (btw thoughts are mine, not my employer’s (past or present :). I’ve worked red carpets, coordinated press looks, pitched national TV segments, and sat in meetings where we’ve strategized how to earn coverage and make it count. Basically, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what gets attention and why.

Love Letters is where I write about that.

It’s part press breakdown, part cultural commentary, and part personal POV. Sometimes it’s a close read on a smart campaign. Sometimes it’s what I would’ve done differently. Sometimes it’s just something I can’t stop thinking about.

I’m interested in what’s spotlighted and what’s not. What hits and what doesn’t. The fashion. The press. The campaigns that resonate, the ones that miss, and the messaging in between.

This is for anyone who’s ever looked at a magazine cover or a red carpet outfit and wondered about the story behind it. <3
